ONE THOUSAND EYE GLASSES

WIMBERLEY LIONS CLUB DONATES ONE THOUSAND GLASSES TO THE VISION PROGRAM

Thank you all for your eyeglass donations! Wimberley Lions contributed over one thousand used eyeglasses for recycling. Lion Steven Green carted seven filled-to-the-rim to the post office. The glasses travel postage-free to the Lion's recycling center in Midland, Texas. The glasses are sterilized and shipped to countries that need vision assistance.

If you would like to donate your old glasses, please take them out of the cases or plastic bags and bring them to the meeting. Please, no broken glasses. If you would like to volunteer to help with this committee it is a great way to serve our club and others.
