Each Fall Wimberley Lions Club awards a significant amount of money from Market Days to
local non-profit organizations. The funding supports specific organizations’ activities that follow the Lion's objectives and principles.
“This year was a banner year for the Wimberley Valley Community. On Tuesday, September
17th thirty-five non-profit organizations received grant awards. Our grants focus on
organizations that serve local youth and improve the Wimberley region by meeting community needs through their volunteers.” Said Ronnie Strain, First Vice President and Chair of the Lions Grant Committee.
President Doug McLean said, “This year the Lions extended the grant application cycle to allow more time for organizations to finish the online grant application form. The next grant online form will be available in May 2025.”
If you are interested in submitting a grant for your non-profit, we invite you to apply in May
2025 through the portal: https://www.wimberleylions.com/grants.
